Friends Of Mossley Park Picnic

The Friends of Mossley Park hold their third annual Picnic in the Park this Sunday. Organisers say the event is aimed at all the family, and last year attracted more than 1,200 visitors.

Funfair At Oldham Sports Club

A traditional funfair begins at the Oldham Sports and Community Club this evening. It runs until Monday.

Organisers say it’s an ideal evening or weekend treat for local youngsters and families. A wristband to get into the fair costs £1, and all rides are £1. Snacks and refreshments are available, and there’s a licensed bar.
