Gritting Debate Goes On

The debate over what lessons can be learned from last winter’s heavy snowfall was again raised at Wednesday’s full council meeting in Oldham. Saddleworth Parish Councillor Ken Hulme called for more grit bins, that local farmers and contractors be used to clear remote roads, and for a grit depot to be re-established in the area.
