Improvement works complete at Grains Bar - but continue to drive safely

Oldham Council has carried out improvements on a junction at Grains Bar.

The work, which cost £20,000, has seen a traffic island and high visibility bollards put in place.

Bend warning signs and enhanced hazard markings and red surfacing have also been installed.

Over the last few years a number of crashes have occurred in the area around Ripponden Road.

Debbie pushes for ban on child sex offenders serving as councillors

Oldham Council is again asking residents to join in next week’s Full Council meeting.

The Full Council meeting on Wednesday, March 23 will be streamed live on their website at www.oldham.gov.uk from 6pm.

Their live internet streaming allows residents to watch the entire meeting live from laptops, tablets and other digital devices – making decision-making more open and transparent.
