Jessica Davey, 28, of Denshaw, has lived in Saddleworth all her life, and is showing her entrepreneurial skills by opening the new shop in Lees.

The new business venture called Kiddie Couture, is a designer kids clothes shop catering for 0 – 14 year old children. Jess has grown up in Saddleworth, attending Saddleworth school, where her Dad, Mr Davey also taught for many years.

After attending Leeds Met to study event management she worked in in event Sales before giving birth to her baby daughter Maisie who is now 18 months old. “I wanted to go back to work, ideally running my own business to give some flexibility with Maisie. When the opportunity came to open Kiddie Couture it was just perfect, having lived the kid culture and baby groups for the last 18 months,” Jess told Saddleworth News.

The shop, situated in St Thomas Parade Lees, near Barclays Bank, will sell brands such as Little Marc Jacobs, DKNY, Hugo Boss and Billieblush. Jess already has links with other Saddleworth businesses such as Jet Dance Studios, Swan Meadow Nursery, Cheeky Chimps and is planning other mutually beneficial links.

The Grand Opening is this Saturday 17th August, between 10.00am and 4.00pm with a prize draw, fizz, cupcakes and a balloon modeller for the kids.
