Friends Of Mossley Park To Hold Spring Clean

The Friends of Mossley Park and Tameside Council are joining forces for a ‘spring clean’ of the park this Saturday.

Friends Of Mossley Park Picnic

The Friends of Mossley Park hold their third annual Picnic in the Park this Sunday. Organisers say the event is aimed at all the family, and last year attracted more than 1,200 visitors.

There’ll be face painting, a bouncy castle, community art, live music, stalls, games and a barbecue.

Tree Planting In Mossley Park

The Friends of Mossley Park will be planting trees and flowers in the top park this Sunday morning. They’ll be joined by the 2nd Mossley Brownies to plant 30 native treees, provided by The Woodland Trust.

There are also 3,000 snowdrops which need planting. The Friends are keen for all the help they can get, so anyone is welcome to go along and lend a hand.
