Santa Dash through Uppermill for local charities

Over 100 paid up runners will be taking part in a Santa Dash along High Street, Uppermill on Saturday 5 December.

The event has been organised by Saddleworth Round Table as an extension to their Winter Wonderland event which takes place later the same day.

The Santa Dash is a 5km charity fun run through Uppermill village and Diggle.

Uppermill High Street

Carriage way resurfacing work will start tomorrow on High Street in Uppermill.

The work will be carried out at night, from Monday to Thursday, with Oldham Council promising to keep disruption to a minimum during the works.

Run by best friends Beth Blackmore and Hannah Jones, the business beat some stiff competition to become one of 20 finalists in the award sponsored by Liberis, one of the UK’s largest providers of small business funding.
