Dementia Friends invite public to cricket club debate

Local Dementia Friends champion, Helen Morris, who has completed many Dementia Friends Information Sessions has expressed her thanks to the Austerlands and Scouthead Community Association, for inviting her to join them at a future meeting.

Helen told Saddleworth News: “This is better than holding a public meeting, because a group of committed people with no particular interest in dementia, will have the opportunity to contribute to debates on difficult areas and share the experience of living with dementia.”

Saddleworth based Home Instead Senior Care, who provide at-home care for older people, have just completed a number of free Alzheimer’s and other dementias workshops for family members in Oldham.
