Renovation work has begun on a Saddleworth Business Centre, which will see 16 new offices created.

Flexible business space provider, BizSpace, has invested more than £400,000 in a refurbishment of its Saddleworth Business Centre, on Huddersfield Road, Oldham.

Saddleworth man takes the helm at accountancy firm

Accountancy firm HURST has appointed partner Mike Jackson from Saddleworth to succeed Andrew Milnes as head of its business services team.

Andrew, who joined HURST in 1990, has headed the team for 15 years. He will stay on at HURST in a consultancy role.

The business services team provides advisory, audit and assurance services to companies across the north west and beyond. It is the largest team at HURST, with 45 staff.
