Scheme Offers Free Or Cheap Insulation

Saddleworth residents with certain health issues are being reminded they might be able to get free loft and cavity wall insulation, to help keep them warm this winter. Under the Affordable Warmth scheme, all people in our area will be able to get insulation for a heavily discounted price, whether they have health problems or not.

Residents Urged To Get Insulation Help

People across Saddleworth are being reminded that money is available to help them improve the insulation in their homes. Residents aged over 70 or who are receiving certain benefits could get work done free, while others may be eligible for grants towards the cost of the measures.
