Greenfield Primary School Summer Fair

Reporter: Stuart Littleford

Greenfield Primary School will be holding its Summer Fair on Friday 30 June from 4pm – 7pm.

There will be plenty to see and do on the day including hot food, home baked food, licensed bar, mini arcade with X Box games, displays of martial arts and some adventure based learning activities.

There will also be a shooting range and bungee trampolines.

Tickets are on sale now and are £1.50 per person with under 3 years free of charge.

The school recently held a spontaneous lolly and ice cream sale after school hours to raise money for the MEN Manchester Appeal, following the horrendous attack carried out at the Manchester Arena.

Tesco in Greenfield kindly donated a lot of the lollies and ice creams and in the space of 20 minutes, £200 was raised for the appeal.

The school is located on Shaw Street in Greenfield.
