A dog has gone missing in Saddleworth on September 6.

A reward has been offered for any information on the dogs whereabouts.

The adult male Akita was last seen near junction 22 towards Denshaw.

Celebrated British blues rock guitarist & singer-songwriter, Joanne Shaw Taylor, will be performing at Uppermill Civic Hall on Friday 10 July 2015.

Born and raised in the Black Country, Joanne was originally discovered by Eurythmics’ Dave Stewart as a 16 year old guitar prodigy. Through hard work and near-constant touring, she is now one of the hottest young names on the British Blues circuit. She is admired and respected by many leading guitarists including Joe Bonamassa.

The reunion takes place on Saturday 19th May 2012 at the Uppermill Civic Hall.

The Countryside service for Oldham Council have organised a walk of approximetley 13 miles.

The walk which will take place this Sunday, will take in the Saddleworth Moors as well as give walkers the chance to look for white mountain hares.
