Thousands Brave Rain To Enjoy Saddleworth Show

The rain didn’t prevent thousands of people heading to Churchill Fields yesterday for the Saddleworth Show. Along with the usual array of stalls, competitions and entertainment, racing camels made for an exotic addition to the day’s fun.

Free Shuttle Bus For Saddleworth Show

Beer Walk Today

The Saddleworth Beer Walk takes place today. It’s the 37th time drinkers have taken part in the annual event to raise money for charity.

Last year, the walkers themselves raised more than £80,000, with organisers the Saddleworth Round Table bringing in a further £31,000. The Round Table distributes the cash to various charities throughout the year.
